To be eligible for these scholarships an applicant must: 

Be a female and a US citizen

Maintain good academic standing

Show financial need

Use the scholarship within twelve months

The college or university must be located in Texas

Have no relatives who are members of the Woman’s Club

Requirements for application are as follows:

Complete an application form

Submit three teacher recommendations and one outside recommendation

Essay (approximately 100 words) explaining educational goals for the future and reasons for needing financial aid

May also submit a resume (optional)
