WHO -Interested members of The Woman’s Club of Bryan-College Station
WHAT-Hands-on genealogy workshop, including use of computers and software.
WHERE-Carnegie History Center and Gloria Sale Depot at Sale Park in Downtown Bryan.
WHEN-April 18 and June 6 from 10am-2pm
WHY-Because The Carnegie and The Woman’s Club have a long, beautiful history together-and
together we can explore our roots, here in the Brazos Valley and far beyond!
HOW-Through the expertise of Rachael Altman, M. Ed., Manager of the Carnegie History Center, our
members can learn how to access the Center’s vast resources, as well as take advantage of the
Center’s memberships in many genealogy websites and online genealogy databases! Bring your
own laptops or iPad, if you have one.
DETAILS-Gourmet Boxed lunches, and bottled water will be served a short walk away at the Gloria Sale
Depot at Sale Park, courtesy of the Library Committee. RSVP’s are necessary for History Center
preparation, as well as lunch orders on the Monday before each workshop.
(No lunch cancellations after that day, or we will need reimbursement).
