2024 Scholarship Bus Trip

A charter bus will leave from The Woman’s Club at 10 AM on March 13 for a fun field day trip to the historic downtown Brenham. Our first stop will be the beautiful Unity Theater, originally a warehouse built in 1906. Here we will be treated to a private catered lunch featuring a menu and table direction, decorations reflecting the upcoming spring season. After lunch, we will walk across the street to Hermann Furniture, a fixture  in Brenham since 1876. Fifth generation owner Jennifer Hermann will present a design seminar, entitled “A House in Bloom”, in which she will inspire us with ideas for entertaining and decorating at home. Afterward we will have time to shop at the Hermann Furniture,  where you will find many decorative items and gifts, as well as the beautiful furniture. You may also explore the many other unique shocks shops in the historic downtown area, including three other owned by the Hermann family, an antique mall, a children’s boutique and specialty food store. The bus  shall return to Bryan around 4:30 PM.
